Meet the team

  • Nick started his career as a commercial agent at an East London surveying firm after university, going on to head up multiple commercial divisions, before setting up Harston+Co in 2017. In addition to overseeing the business as Managing Director, his passion still lies in the fast-paced nature of agency work and the satisfaction that comes from unlocking complicated deals. One of the most notable transactions Nick has been involved in was the acquisition of a mixed-use portfolio of 208 properties in East London with a deal value of over £50 million, on behalf of a family trust.
  • Erika oversees internal operations and marketing at Harston+Co. She brings a creative and detailed approach to the business, with her background in corporate retail and public relations. She is passionate about how we present properties and elevating our marketing to set Harston+Co apart from the traditional commercial agent.
  • Tom previously worked for Taylor Wimpey before joining Harston+Co in 2023. He is a born and bred Londoner, bringing strong local knowledge alongside a personable and proactive approach to agency. Tom enjoys bringing people together to help transactions progress smoothly.  
  • Emilia oversees the day-to-day running of Harston+Co’s property management portfolio and company compliance. She has a keen attention to detail and a professional approach. She began her career at Savills and has accumulated 15+ years of experience in property administration and marketing. She has been with Harston+Co since the start of 2019.
  • James is an expert in conducting rent renews and lease renewals across all asset classes, with over 20 years’ experience. His specialist technical knowledge is fundamental in supporting our asset management services. 

Our story

In 2017, Nick Harston founded Harston+Co on the back of over a decade of experience transacting in the East London market and beyond.

He spent his early years in the industry learning, building a network, earning trust, finding a passion in unlocking value, and cultivating his tenacious approach – this is the foundation upon which Harston+Co was built.

Harston+Co have since become experts within the East London patch, expanding our reach across the wider UK, specialising in dealing with problems and complexities in transactions. We view these as opportunities to do what we do best, not a reason to walk away from a deal. We bring deep knowledge and fresh thinking to see every problem through and get the best result.
